Year 2022 The year is 2022. Most companies have issued their own crypto tokens. The stock-markets NYSE, AEX, FTSE have all been shutdown after a hack which caused global markets to collapse. Those in the know speculate that the hack is just a scape-goat propagated by central banks and governments to hide the failure of fiat-currencies. Bitcoin is still king followed by Ethereum, Apple, Alphabet, Microsoft, Saudi Aramco, Shell and Tesla. The crypto-markets gave grown substantially now hovering around 200 trillion tether. I could say dollars but after the historic collapse they don't have any value and are not longer noted on Coinmarketcap as an unit of account. Bitcoin is currently trading at 130.000 and according to "experts" it's currently in a bear-market after tapping 250.000. Gold is hovering around 35.000 and silver around 2500. Oil is still relatively cheap at 130 and the average income is around 40.000. Wages have not kept with the crash of fiat-currencies which means that 90 percent of the citizenry are dependent on the state to receive an additional 40.000 in UBI. The UBI is clearly not enough to support people in their lives. The state made it illegal for landlords to charge any rent after a protest-group called Renters lives Matter went on a killing spree. To compensate the landlords all houses were equipped with hightech monitoring gadgets to collect as much data as possible to sell to big tech companies. If you don't like to be monitored you will have to pay "home-services" or buy a home. All excess oil reserves are now being used to mine Bitcoin. Paying with bitcoin is more for the big shots nowadays. Common folks like to use fast, cheap and highly deflationary coins to transact in like Tesla, Apple or Amazon. Most companies started burning their own coins with a certain percentage of profit every quarter to incentivise hodling and tend to pay their employees in their crypto. Off-course the big tech coins are not really just coins. They are securities like stocks used to be and are quite centralised. God only knows what would happen to the crypto securities if Bezos, Zuckerberg or Gates would suddenly die. But in general the crypto-markets have grown up and are now more stable than let's say the wild wild west days in 2017 where every billionaire could just steer the markets with some pocketchange in every desired direction. Binance along with other crypto-exchange companies became one of the biggest beneficiaries after the closure of the global stock-markets, with a market-cap of 900 billion tether accompanying the big boys in the top 30. What follows...I leave up to you.
BNB tokens burned Quartely BNB tokens required for Gas on dex trading BNB tokens required for discount on DEX and CEX trading BNB tokens required to Create/list tokens on dex BNB required to run nodes/validators Hold 500 BNB to get 40% affiliate commission Pay at Merchandise with BNB tokens BNB token required to Buy on Launchpad Fixed Supply.. no inflation Final BNB supply will be 100 Million Binance & team holds 71% of BNB tokens Tokens Remaining for people 29 Millions Price as of 20th Feb 2019 BTC current price - 3950 (21 Million Supply) ETH Current price - 147 (105 Million Supply + Inflation of 5% per year) BNB Current Price - 10.5 (Final Supply of 100 Million After All tokens are burned) 8 Potential erc20 tokens will switch to Binance Chain (confirmed by CZ) That will bring huge network value to Binance Chain
I expect BNB price to be at least 60-80% of ETH price

Wall Street 2.0: How Blockchain will revolutionise Wall Street and a closer look at Quant Network’s Partnership with AX Trading
AX Trading LLC (AX), a technology-enabled registered broker-dealer and Alternative Trading System (ATS) operator, today announced a strategic partnership withQuant Networka pioneering technology company providing financial and regulatory technology as well as interoperability in financial services, payments and capital markets infrastructure.Through this partnership, Quant Network’s technology, Overledger a blockchain operating system, will enable universal interoperability for regulatory-compliant security tokens and digital assets to be traded on AX ATS, a regulated secondary trading market. AX intends to integrate Overledger to help foster the evolution of traditional capital markets infrastructure to facilitate the mass implementation of interoperable regulated digital assets. With the increased market adoption of digital assets and banking “coins” such as JPMorgan Coin, AX and Quant Network are at the forefront to enable the transferability and movement of digital assets.George O’Krepkie, AX CEO said: “we look forward to partnering with Quant. Their technology will allow our blockchain agnostic security token exchange to communicate seamlessly with issuers, traders, investors, and regulators across different blockchain protocols. This is a key technological breakthrough that will help us bring the benefits of security tokens to Main Street and Wall Street.”It is expected that the first interoperable digital asset offering may commence as soon as January 2020, and that the AX Trading ATS may be ready to enable and list interoperable digital assets and securities in 2020.
An institutional investor is an organization that invests on behalf of the organization's members. They consist of hedge funds, banks, investment banks, pension funds, insurance companies, endowment funds, or any other type of money management firm. Institutional investors account for about three-quarters of the volume on the New York Stock Exchange (which alone handles more than $20 Trillion a year in volume). In the US, Institutional investors own about 80 % of the total market value of the equity (stock) market, which globally is worth more than $73 trillion. Wall Street refers to the institutional investors I mentioned above whereas Main Street refers collectively to members of the general public who are not accredited investors and the overall economy as a whole. Whilst the Equity Market is huge, Institutional investors also invest in other securities which are prime to be tokenised such as Real Estate Market (Globally worth $217 trillion), the Debt Market (Globally worth $215 trillion) and the Derivatives Market (Low end estimates at $544 trillion and high-end estimates at $1.2 quadrillion). All of which makes the current market cap for cryptocurrencies look like a drop in the ocean.
Who are AX Trading?
AX Trading is a SEC-registered broker-dealer and Alternative Trading System (ATS) Operator. They are a member of FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority)and SIPC ( Securities Investor Protection Corporation) regulated authorities. The SEC has some of the most stringent regulations in the world for listing securities and there are fewer than 50 SEC-registered Alternative Trading System Operators in the United States, of which only a handful are currently implementing Digital Assets. Others are awaiting regulatory approval with Coinbase, Circle etc are all looking at getting into this huge market. https://www.coindesk.com/stonewalled-by-finra-up-to-40-crypto-securities-wait-in-limbo-for-launch AX Trading have investors and sponsored brokers including the likes of Credit Suisse, (a multinational investment Bank and Financial services company worth $27.5 billion). AX currently have over 800 Institutional traders (these are not individuals, but corporations such as hedge funds, banks, investment banks, pension funds, insurance companies, endowment funds etc). AX Trading have also partnered with Euronext, the largest Stock Exchange in Europe with a market cap of $4.65 trillion as of 2018, in the creation of Euronext Block which utilises AX Trading.
What is an Alternative Trading System?
An Alternative Trading System (ATS) is an SEC-regulated trading venue which serves as an alternative to trading at a public exchange. ATS account for much of the liquidity found in publicly traded issues worldwide. They are known as multilateral trading facilities in Europe, electronic communication networks (ECNs), cross networks, and call networks AX is the world’s first “Electronic Trading Network” (ETN) where institutional traders can proactively connect and trade with other counterparties in a secure environment. Unlike traditional stock exchanges/ECNs that show orders to everyone and traditional dark pools/crossing systems that show orders — presumably — to no one, AX allows institutional traders to pick and choose WHOM they want to notify and also WHAT information they want to share with them. Institutional investors may use an ATS to find counterparties for transactions instead of trading large blocks of shares on national stock exchanges. These actions may be designed to conceal trading from public view since ATS transactions do not appear on national exchange order books. The benefit of using an ATS to execute such orders is that it reduces the domino effect that large trades might have on the price of an equity.
How does AX Trading Work?
The AX Trading process begins when one trader sends an “initiated” order to AX. The order can be routed to the AX ATS via one of our broker sponsors such as Credit Suisse. The initiated order triggers a “Call Auction” on AX, a period of time when the order will rest in AX to be matched against other orders from auction responders. The Initiator of an AX auction decides who they want to invite to participate in the auction, whether they be all 800+ institutional members or targeted to specific ones, as well as how much info they want to disclose about the order. Based on these instructions, the AX ATS then notifies the members inviting them to participate in the trade. The invited members can then participate in the trade by either placing buy orders of their own or placing sell orders. At the end of the AX auction period, all orders are brought together, and a match is performed. In the traditional, continuous market with displayed bids and offers, traders are often chasing liquidity. In other words, the price may move away from them the more they buy or sell to what is commonly called “market impact.” On AX, the advantage of their call auction model is it brings liquidity — in the form of participant orders to the buyer rather than them chasing liquidity.
What is a Security Token?
Security Tokens are different than Utility Tokens or Cryptocurrencies. A security token is a digital representation of a traditional security. It may represent shares in a company, interest in a fund, real estate, art collectables, or essentially any asset a party can own. Anthony Pompliano wrote an article explaining tokenised securities in more detail which you can see here
Security Tokens are digital assets subject to federal security regulations. In layman terms, they are the intersection of digital assets (tokens) with traditional financial products — a new technology improving old things. If cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are considered “programmable money” then you can consider Security Tokens a version of “programmable ownership.” This means that any asset with ownership can and will be tokenized (public & private equities, debt, real estate, etc).
The Tokenisation of assets is thereforeinevitable, because it is a better way torecord, exchangeandmonitorasset ownership for all parties involved. The amounts at stake representmany hundreds of trillions of US dollars
What are the benefits of a security token?
Lower Fees — having Smart Contracts and compliance programmed into the token itself removes the need for middlemen, reducing costs. Post Trade businesses such as clearing houses would also no longer be required further reducing costs.
24/7 markets — Currently the major US stock markets trade between 9:30am and 3pm during weekdays only. Trading can be done 24/7 and globally whilst remaining compliant.
Fractional Ownership — This greatly increases liquidity for previously illiquid assets. Real estate, Artwork, even assets such as Oil Refineries are already in talks about being tokenised through Overledger. If you have an asset such as an oil refinery worth billions of dollars, then naturally this limits the market should you ever want to sell it. However with fractional ownership you could own a tiny percentage of it and receive profits from the oil refinery based upon the percentage you own, which exponentially increases the number ofpotential buyers, increasing liquidity.
Rapid Settlement — Currently it takes 3 working days to settle a securities trade, this can be reduced to minutes by having the asset and fiat represented on a blockchain and handled through smart contracts.
Automated compliance — Security tokens are programmable, and rules and regulations are hard-coded into the architecture of the token to ensure they always remain compliant. This means that they can be traded globally and still ensure they respect the relevant countries regulations that the participants are located in.
The benefits that a blockchain provide such as transparency, security, immutability, high availability. Regulators can also run a node and verify compliance in real time.
Security Token Issuance Platforms
Security token issuance platforms allow issuers to issue Security tokens that represent the security such as Shares in their company etc in return for capital. This is known as a Primary Market. Importantly it’s not just the issuance that they look after, it’s the whole life cycle of a digital security to ensure they remain continuously in compliance as they are traded etc. They also provide reporting to the issuer so they can see who owns the tokens and what dividends to pay out. Securitize are one of the leading security tokens issuing platforms. They have created the DS Protocol, a blockchain agnostic protocol for security tokens which manages the whole lifecycle of a digital security, ensuring it remains continuously in compliance. They have issued a number of security tokens on the Ethereum network as well as recently working with IBM to tokenise the Corporate Debt Market (worth $82 Trillion). On the back of this they joined Hyperledger, an open source project which includes Enterprise blockchains such as Hyperledger Fabric which IBM is heavily involved with. https://tokenpost.com/Quant-Network-Securitize-and-others-join-Hyperledger-blockchain-project-1544 They recently also became the first SEC-registered transfer agent, which means Securitize can now act as the official keeper of records about changes of ownership in securities. There are many companies in this sector which are utilising various blockchains, Other examples include:
Harber — R Token protocol for Ethereum
Polymath — ST20 protocol for Ethereum
Blockstate — a security token issuance platform recently announced plans to migrate a number of ERC-20 tokens from the public Ethereum blockchain to the permissioned blockchain R3 Corda
Whilst the issuance platforms above generally also include their own exchange where the token can be traded on, secondary markets such as those offered through traditional stock exchanges and Alternative Trading Systems provide significantly more liquidity. Traditional Stock Exchanges have been very active in blockchain with some going through proof of concepts, to those like SIX SDX Digital Exchange which is due to launch later this year. They are using various blockchains and cover the full process from Issuance, Trading and Post Trade / Settlement services. I have briefly outlined which blockchain they are using / testing with along with source to read more about it below:

Situated at the end of the post-trading process, CSDs are systemically important intermediaries. They thereby form a critical part of the securities market’s post-trade infrastructure, as they are where changes of securities ownership are ultimately registered. CSDs play a special role both as a depository, involving the legal safekeeping and maintenance of securities in a ‘central depository’ on behalf of custodians (both in materialised or dematerialised form); as well as for the issuer, involving the issuance of further securities by issuers, and their onboarding onto CSDs’ platforms. CSDs are also keeping a number of other important functions, including: dividend, interest, and principal processing; corporate actions including proxy voting; payment to transfer agents, and issuers involved in these processes; securities lending and borrowing; and, provide pledging of share and securities. Blockchain technology will enable real-time settlement finality in the securities world. This could mean the end of a number of players in the post-trade area, such as central counterparty clearing houses (CCPs), custodians and others. Central Security Despositories (CSD) will still play an important role according to reports: “CSDs could have an important role to play in a blockchain-based settlement system. As ‘custodians of the code, CSDs could exercise oversight of, and take responsibility for, the operation of the relevant blockchain protocol and any associated smart contracts.” Euroclear Report Another group of 30 central securities depositories (CSDs) in Europe and Asia are researching possible ways to “join hands” in developing a new infrastructure to custody digital assets. The CSDs will attempt to figure out how to apply their experience in guarding stock certificates to security solutions for crypto assets. “A new world of tokenized assets and blockchain is coming. It will probably disrupt our role as CSDs. The whole group decided we will be focusing on tokenized assets, not just blockchain but on real digital assets.” You can read more about how blockchain will affect CSD’s here Examples of CSD’s in blockchain

The Importance Of Interoperability
The evolution of DLT and the wide adoption across industries and across different market segments is resulting in many different ledgers networks, but the ultimate promise of DLT can only be realized when all ledger networks can seamlessly interoperate. — from the recent DTCC whitepaper with Accenture Some challenges and constraints related to the market infrastructure ecosystem remain open and will need to be addressed in the future to sustain the development of DLT platforms for trading and the post-trade process. At this stage, the questions of interoperability and standardization across these DLT (probably permissioned) platforms remain open and we may see a list of platforms offering no scope for interconnection. This will prevent them from fulfilling the key “distribution” criterion of DLT.Another related challenge that may determine whether or not the technology is adopted is the ability to provide Delivery versus Payment (DvP) settlement, in particular in central bank money. Nevertheless, it is worth mentioning that settlement can also be facilitated in commercial bank money. —https://www2.deloitte.com/content/dam/Deloitte/lu/Documents/technology/lu-token-assets-securities-tomorrow.pdf
It’s clear from the above that interoperability will be crucial in order to unlock the true potential of Distributed Ledger Technology. Issuance platforms will seek to interoperate with as many secondary exchanges as possible to provide maximum liquidity for issuers. Issuance platforms and secondary exchanges are each using a wide range of different blockchains that all need to interoperate as part of the trade process. CSD’s will also need to have interoperability between other CSD’s as well as to the secondary exchanges (again each using different blockchains).
Enter Quant Network’s Overledger
Quant Network’s blockchain operating system, Overledger, provides interoperability between any current and future distributed ledger technology as well as easily connecting Off Chain / Legacy networks as well as plans to connect directly to the Internet. Within 10 months it has proven it can provide interoperability with the full range of DLT technologies from all the leading Enterprise Permissioned blockchains such as Hyperledger, R3’s Corda, JP Morgan’s Quorum, permissioned variants of Ethereum and Ripple (XRPL) as well as the leading Public Permissionless blockchains / DAGs such as Bitcoin, Stellar, Ethereum, IOTA and EOS as well as the most recent blockchain to get added Binance Chain. All without imposing restrictions on connected chains, being Internet scalable and able to easily integrate into existing networks / infrastructure. https://preview.redd.it/8p6hi942t0m31.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=b0536ea9981306feb8bd95788c66e9a5727a4d58 Overledger a blockchain operating system, will enable universal interoperability for regulatory-compliant security tokens and digital assets to be traded on AX ATS, a regulated secondary trading market. AX intends to integrate Overledger to help foster the evolution of traditional capital markets infrastructure to facilitate the mass implementation of regulated digital assets. With the increased market adoption of digital assets and banking “coins” such as JPMorgan Coin, AX and Quant Network are at the forefront to enable the transferability and movement of digital assets https://www.quant.network/blog/redefining-wall-st-with-decentralised-capital-market-infrastructure-the-possibilities-of-quant-networks-overledger-technology-in-regulated-capital-markets Overledger enables Universal Interoperability where digital assets can move across blockchains so that they can interact with smart contracts on different blockchains. It does this by locking the asset on one blockchain and then representing it on another blockchain either by creating a representing token or representing it via metadata. This will enable all of these different parties such as Issuance platforms, Exchanges, CSD’s, traders etc to move the digital asset from their respective blockchain onto AX Trading’s platform for secure, immediate and immutable trading to take place. Potentially it would even allow Digital Assets / Securities to settled on a public permissionless blockchain such as the recently connected Binance Chain in a completely safe, secure and compliant way. https://preview.redd.it/a3o9qxq5t0m31.png?width=443&format=png&auto=webp&s=78d7a7e7d47213bbb354336ba9d5ad92c1c2254a Regulators would be able to run a node and view transactions in real time ensuring that compliance is being kept. Potentially they could also benefit from using Quant Networks Multichain Search capability http://search.quant.network/ to be able to fully track assets as they move across blockchains.
George O’Krepkie, AX CEO said: “we look forward to partnering with Quant. Their technology will allow our blockchain agnostic security token exchange to communicate seamlessly with issuers, traders, investors, and regulators across different blockchain protocols. This is a key technological breakthrough that will help us bring the benefits of security tokens to Main Street and Wall Street.”
AX Trading have also partnered with Securrency (who have previously tokenised over $260 million in real estate assets). Securrency provide a protocol that enables security tokens to remain in compliance regardless of what blockchain the token is on. Due to the layered approach that Overledger has adopted from the learnings of TCP/IP, this protocol can be easily integrated on top of Overledger to enable security tokens to move across blockchains as well as ensuring they remain in compliance with regulations programmed into the token. https://youtu.be/vSQ2fu9iZGs
Delivery vs Payment (DvP)
A DvP transaction involves the settlement of two linked obligations, namely the delivery of securities and the payment of cash. DvP avoids counterparties being exposed to principal risk, i.e. the risk that the seller of securities could deliver but would not receive payment or that the buyer of securities could make payment but would not receive delivery.Following this requirement, a DvP securities settlement mechanism has to ensure that the delivery of securities and the payment of cash are linked in a way where one leg (obligation) of the securities trade is conditioned to the final settlement of the other leg (obligation) of the trade. Thereby final settlement is defined as “the irrevocable and unconditional transfer of an asset or financial instrument, or the discharge of an obligation by the FMI or its participants in accordance with the terms of the underlying contract”. —STELLA — a joint research project of the European Central Bank and the Bank of Japan
We have seen how Overledger can provide interoperability for the securities to move across Issuers platforms, integrate with Stock exchanges, Central Security Depositories and AX Trading. Now we need to be able to ensure that payment is guaranteed and in a way that offers immediate settlement which is irrevocable. To do this we need to represent FIAT on the blockchain so that it can interact with smart contracts and settle transactions on the blockchain.
J.P.Morgan is the largest bank in the United States and ranked by S&P Global as the sixth largest bank in the world by total assets as of 2018, to the amount of $2.535 trillion. J.P. Morgan was the first U.S. bank to create and successfully test a digital coin representing a fiat currency. The JPM Coin is based on blockchain-based technology enabling the instantaneous transfer of payments between institutional clients. With J.P.Morgan’s $2.6 trillion balance sheet, expertise in blockchain and global payments network, J.P. Morgan can seamlessly and securely transfer and settle money for clients around the world. J.P. Morgan are supervised by banking regulators in the United States and in the international jurisdictions in which it operates.
How does JPM Coin work?
A Buyer purchases JPM coins in advance which get represented on the Permissioned Quorum blockchain ($1 =1 JPM Coin). Quant Network’s Overledger could then provide interoperability to lock those tokens on Quorum and represent those onto another blockchain / AX Trading’s Network. By being able to represent securities and FIAT on the same blockchain (even though the underlying assets are on different blockchains) this provides instant finality / settlements to occur. Once the seller receives the JPM coin in exchange for the securities they have sold they will be able to redeem them for USD. It also doesn’t necessarily mean that they have to have a JP Morgan account to redeem them, you could imagine in the future that the Bank instead redeems the JPM Coin and credits the users account. Similarly the buyer of the security token redeems the represented token and unlocks the security token on the original blockchain. You can read more about JP Morgan’s Coin here as well as its use cases
J.P Morgan is betting that its first-mover status and large market share in corporate payments — it banks 80 percent of the companies in the Fortune 500 — will give its technology a good chance of getting adopted, even if other banks create their own coins.“Pretty much every big corporation is our client, and most of the major banks in the world are, too,” Farooq said. “Even if this was limited to JPM clients at the institutional level, it shouldn’t hold us back.”
Overledger enables different securities tokens / digital coins representing FIAT currencies to be brought together from the various permissioned / permissionless blockchains onto one platform where trading / settlement can take place. Overledger is the only technology that can do this today across the leading permissioned and permissionless blockchains as well as existing networks, all in a secure, scalable and easy to integrate way. https://preview.redd.it/ngt7q7hdt0m31.png?width=738&format=png&auto=webp&s=60166bdc0fcdf72a502e3472a09de5ddb5e1eb69 Quant Network are working with AX Trading to bring more digital assets, securities and tokenised assets to their existing 800 institutional traders in an already live and connected FINRA and SEC regulated exchange. AX Trading is not just about trading securities but other digital assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and potentially even Quant in the Future. https://preview.redd.it/ibecorcft0m31.png?width=1286&format=png&auto=webp&s=94540cf49654e36a8155f424c2a4bdb5fd549558 This is a multi-trillion dollar market with huge global enterprises, traditional exchanges and global banks are all adopting DLT at a rapid pace and going into production at scale in a matter of months, examples include the NYSE Bakkt launching Bitcoin futures later this month, Swiss Stock Exchange ($1.6 Trillion market Cap) is due to launch their digital exchange running on Corda (SDX) by the end of the year. The DTCC are due to launch their Trade Information Warehouse which processes $10 Trillion of cleared and bilateral derivatives by the end of the year. JP Morgan who transfer $6 Trillion every day are due to launch their JPM coin at the end of year and AX Trading is due to offer their first digital asset by January 2020. Quant Network’ Overledger enables the bridging of traditional finance infrastructure with the new decentralised finance infrastructure DeFi of the future, helping to redefine Wall Street and Capital Markets. https://medium.com/@CryptoSeq/wall-street-2-0-17252ffd8919
Anyone else amazed at the amount of good news that has come out in the past few weeks?
Is anyone else sort of blown away by all the good news that's been coming out the past few weeks? Let me sum up everything just off the top of my head:
Coinbase launches suite of products aimed at institutions and solves problem of custodianship for big investors.
Bittrex starts to add fiat pairs to their exchange.
Binance adding fiat pairs in near future.
NYSE parent company ICE, NASDAQ, and now Fidelity are looking into building cryptocurrency trading platforms.
President of China says blockchain is a very important technology, potentially signaling crypto ban reversal.
SEC chairman said TODAY that Bitcoin is not a security, potentially clearing up the last barrier for big institutional money ( the other barrier being custodianship that I mentioned earlier )
Coinbase just announced today that they're on their way to being a broker for SEC regulated crypto securities.
Like holy shit that is A LOT of good news. Anyways the point of my post is, I think the writing is really on the walls now guys. If you weren't bullish about crypto before I think all of the above should give you every reason to be now. EDIT: I've seen some comments asking why all this good news isn't being reflected in market prices. I actually made a video covering that topic and why I think 2018 can still be a really bullish year for cryptocurrencies: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dqt7FePOcGY I feel even more strongly about this after the news broke today regarding points 6 and 7.
I somehow created an account and now I can trade with Metatrader 4 ?? wtf am I doing ?
Hey, posted this on cryptocurrency and didn't get any useful responsesy maybe you guys can help me ? I somehow created an Account on LH-Crypto. I don't really know what i'm doing. I then downloaded Metatrader 4. Its complicated looking program. I can open long and short positions on pretty much anything. Gold, Stocks, Forex and I think they use my Bitcoin for it. I sent bitcoin to the LH-Crypto account address. So I think everything is working as intenden. I have a few questions now:
I suspect that LH-Crypto is my Broker and thats why I can trade everything with bitcoin ? is that right ?
Is every Broker on the same "Market" ? Like if I trade gold, is my trade on the same "Market" someone else trading gold ?
How do I know on which Market I am trading ? If I type in "Gold" on https://www.tradingview.com/ it shows me what it is, the most traded thing being a stock on NYSE. If I trade Gold with Metatrader 4 and an account from LH-Crypto, am I trading Gold on NYSE ?
Are there other, maybe bigger or better Brokers that I can use to do the same thing (Like a common one everybody uses, the coinbase equivalent of Brokers so to speak. Does it even matter what I use ?)
If my Broker is LH-Crypto or any other broker for that matter. Am I still trading btc for example in the same "pool" as everyone else ?? or can they like manipulate their own btc charts (binance, bitmex, and all the exchanges have their own "prices" right ?) Or in other words, on what exchange am I trading BTC / USD when I use Metatrader 4 & LH-Crypto ??
I'm trying to put together a list of what's coming out this year. Have this very simple list so far. Anyone care to add anything or suggest some better dates?

Elaborating on Datadash's 50k BTC Prediction: Why We Endorse the Call
As originally published via CoinLive I am the Co-Founder at CoinLive. Prior to founding Coinlive.io, my area of expertise was inter-market analysis. I came across Datadash 50k BTC prediction this week, and I must take my hats off to what I believe is an excellent interpretation of the inter-connectivity of various markets. At your own convenience, you can find a sample of Intermarket analysis I've written in the past before immersing myself into cryptos full-time. Gold inter-market: 'Out of sync' with VIX, takes lead from USD/JPY USD/JPY inter-market: Watch divergence US-Japan yield spread EUUSD intermarket: US yields collapse amid supply environment Inter-market analysis: Risk back in vogue, but for how long? USD/JPY intermarket: Bulls need higher adj in 10-y US-JP spread The purpose of this article is to dive deeper into the factors Datadash presents in his video and how they can help us draw certain conclusions about the potential flows of capital into crypto markets and the need that will exist for a BTC ETF. Before I do so, as a brief explainer, let's touch on what exactly Intermarket analysis refers to: Intermarket analysis is the global interconnectivity between equities, bonds, currencies, commodities, and any other asset class; Global markets are an ever-evolving discounting and constant valuation mechanism and by studying their interconnectivity, we are much better positioned to explain and elaborate on why certain moves occur, future directions and gain insights on potential misalignments that the market may not have picked up on yet or might be ignoring/manipulating. While such interconnectivity has proven to be quite limiting when it comes to the value one can extract from analyzing traditional financial assets and the crypto market, Datadash has eloquently been able to build a hypothesis, which as an Intermarket analyst, I consider very valid, and that matches up my own views. Nicolas Merten constructs a scenario which leads him to believe that a Bitcoin ETF is coming. Let's explore this hypothesis. I will attempt to summarize and provide further clarity on why the current events in traditional asset classes, as described by Datadash, will inevitably result in a Bitcoin ETF. Make no mistake, Datadash's call for Bitcoin at 50k by the end of 2018 will be well justified once a BTC ETF is approved. While the timing is the most challenging part t get right, the end result won't vary. If one wishes to learn more about my personal views on why a BTC ETF is such a big deal, I encourage you to read my article from late March this year. Don't Be Misled by Low Liquidity/Volume - Fundamentals Never Stronger The first point Nicholas Merten makes is that despite depressed volume levels, the fundamentals are very sound. That, I must say, is a point I couldn't agree more. In fact, I recently wrote an article titled TheParadox: Bitcoin Keeps Selling as Intrinsic Value Set to Explode where I state "the latest developments in Bitcoin's technology makes it paradoxically an ever increasingly interesting investment proposition the cheaper it gets." However, no article better defines where we stand in terms of fundamentals than the one I wrote back on May 15th titled Find Out Why Institutions Will Flood the Bitcoin Market, where I look at the ever-growing list of evidence that shows why a new type of investors, the institutional ones, looks set to enter the market in mass. Nicholas believes that based on the supply of Bitcoin, the market capitalization can reach about $800b. He makes a case that with the fundamentals in bitcoin much stronger, it wouldn't be that hard to envision the market cap more than double from its most recent all-time high of more than $300b. Interest Rates Set to Rise Further First of all, one of the most immediate implications of higher rates is the increased difficulty to bear the costs by borrowers, which leads Nicholas to believe that banks the likes of Deutsche Bank will face a tough environment going forward. The CEO of the giant German lender has actually warned that second-quarter results would reflect a “revenue environment [that] remains challenging." Nicholas refers to the historical chart of Eurodollar LIBOR rates as illustrated below to strengthen the case that interest rates are set to follow an upward trajectory in the years to come as Central Banks continue to normalize monetary policies after a decade since the global financial crisis. I'd say, that is a correct assumption, although one must take into account the Italian crisis to be aware that a delay in higher European rates is a real possibility now. !(https://coinlive.io/ckeditor_assets/pictures/947/content_2018-05-30_1100.png) Let's look at the following combinations: Fed Fund Rate Contract (green), German 2-year bond yields (black) and Italy's 10-year bond yield (blue) to help us clarify what's the outlook for interest rates both in Europe and the United States in the foreseeable future. The chart suggests that while the Federal Reserve remains on track to keep increasing interest rates at a gradual pace, there has been a sudden change in the outlook for European rates in the short-end of the curve. While the European Central Bank is no longer endorsing proactive policies as part of its long-standing QE narrative, President Mario Draghi is still not ready to communicate an exit strategy to its unconventional stimulus program due to protectionism threats in the euro-area, with Italy the latest nightmare episode. Until such major step is taken in the form of a formal QE conclusion, interest rates in the European Union will remain depressed; the latest drastic spike in Italy's benchmark bond yield to default levels is pre-emptive of lower rates for longer, an environment that on one hand may benefit the likes of Deutsche Bank on lower borrowing costs, but on the other hand, sets in motion a bigger headache as risk aversion is set to dominate financial markets, which leads to worse financial consequences such as loss of confidence and hence in equity valuations. !(https://coinlive.io/ckeditor_assets/pictures/948/content_2018-05-30_1113.png) Deutsche Bank - End of the Road? Nicholas argues that as part of the re-restructuring process in Deutsche Bank, they will be facing a much more challenging environment as lending becomes more difficult on higher interest rates. At CoinLive, we still believe this to be a logical scenario to expect, even if a delay happens as the ECB tries to deal with the Italian political crisis which once again raises the question of whether or not Italy should be part of the EU. Reference to an article by Zerohedge is given, where it states: "One day after the WSJ reported that the biggest German bank is set to "decimate" its workforce, firing 10,000 workers or one in ten, this morning Deutsche Bank confirmed plans to cut thousands of jobs as part of new CEO Christian Sewing's restructuring and cost-cutting effort. The German bank said its headcount would fall “well below” 90,000, from just over 97,000. But the biggest gut punch to employee morale is that the bank would reduce headcount in its equities sales and trading business by about 25%." There is an undeniably ongoing phenomenon of a migration in job positions from traditional financial markets into blockchain, which as we have reported in the past, it appears to be a logical and rational step to be taken, especially in light of the new revenue streams the blockchain sector has to offer. Proof of that is the fact that Binance, a crypto exchange with around 200 employees and less than 1 year of operations has overcome Deutsche Bank, in total profits. What this communicates is that the opportunities to grow an institution’s revenue stream are formidable once they decide to integrate cryptocurrencies into their business models. One can find an illustration of Deutsche Bank's free-fall in prices below: !(https://coinlive.io/ckeditor_assets/pictures/946/content_2018-05-30_1052.png) Nicholas takes notes of a chart in which one can clearly notice a worrying trend for Italian debt. "Just about every other major investor type has become a net seller (to the ECB) or a non-buyer of BTPs over the last couple of years. Said differently, for well over a year, the only marginal buyer of Italian bonds has been the ECB!", the team of Economists at Citi explained. One can find the article via ZeroHedge here. !(https://coinlive.io/ckeditor_assets/pictures/953/content_2018-05-30_1451.png) Equities & Housing to Suffer the Consequences Nicholas notes that trillions of dollars need to exit these artificially-inflated equity markets. He even mentions a legendary investor such as George Soros, who has recently warned that the world could be on the brink of another devastating financial crisis, on lingering debt concerns in Europe and a strengthening US dollar, as a destabilizing factor for both the US's emerging- and developed-market rivals. Ray Dalio, another legend in the investing world and Founder of Bridgewater Associates, the world’s largest hedge fund, "has ramped up its short positions in European equities in recent weeks, bringing their total value to an estimated $22 billion", MarketWatch reports. Nicholas extracts a chart by John Del Vecchio at lmtr.com where it illustrates the ratio between stocks and commodities at the lowest in over 50 years. As the author states: "I like to look for extremes in the markets. Extremes often pinpoint areas where returns can be higher and risk lower than in other time periods. Take the relationship between commodities and stocks. The chart below shows that commoditieshavennot been cheaper than stocks in a generation. We often hear this time it is different” to justify what’s going on in the world. But, one thing that never changes is human nature. People push markets to extremes. Then they revert. " !(https://coinlive.io/ckeditor_assets/pictures/954/content_2018-05-30_1459.png) Bitcoin ETF the Holy Grail for a Cyclical Multi-Year Bull Run It is precisely from this last chart above that leads Nicholas to believe we are on the verge of a resurgence in commodity prices. Not only that but amid the need of all this capital to exit stocks and to a certain extent risky bonds (Italian), a new commodity-based digital currency ETF based on Bitcoin will emerge in 2018. The author of Datadash highlights the consideration to launching a Bitcoin ETF by the SEC. At CoinLive, our reporting of the subject can be found below: "Back in April, it was reported that the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has put back on the table two Bitcoin ETF proposals, according to public documents. The agency is under formal proceedings to approve a rule change that would allow NYSE Arca to list two exchange-traded funds (ETFs) proposed by fund provider ProShares. The introduction of an ETF would make Bitcoin available to a much wider share of market participants, with the ability to directly buy the asset at the click of a button, essentially simplifying the current complexity that involves having to deal with all the cumbersome steps currently in place." Nicholas refers to the support the Bitcoin ETF has been receiving by the Cboe president Chris Concannon, which is a major positive development. CoinLive reported on the story back in late March, noting that "a Bitcoin ETF will without a doubt open the floodgates to an enormous tsunami of fresh capital entering the space, which based on the latest hints by Concannon, the willingness to keep pushing for it remains unabated as the evolution of digital assets keeps its course." It has been for quite some time CoinLive's conviction, now supported by no other than Nicholas Merten from Datadash, that over the next 6 months, markets will start factoring in the event of the year, that is, the approval of a Bitcoin ETF that will serve as a alternative vehicle to accommodate the massive flows of capital leaving some of the traditional asset classes. As Nicholas suggests, the SEC will have little choice but to provide alternative investments. Bitcoin as a Hedge to Lower Portfolios' Volatility Last but not least, crypto assets such as Bitcoin and the likes have an almost non-existent correlation to other traditional assets such as stocks, bonds, and commodities, which makes for a very attractive and broadly-applicable diversification strategy for the professional money as it reduces one’s portfolio volatility. The moment a Bitcoin ETF is confirmed, expect the non-correlation element of Bitcoin as a major driving force to attract further capital. Anyone Can BeWrongDatadash, But You Won't be Wrong Alone Having analyzed the hypothesis by Nicholas Merten, at CoinLive we believe that the conclusion reached, that is, the creation of a Bitcoin ETF that will provide shelter to a tsunami of capital motivated by the diversification and store of value appeal of Bitcoin, is the next logical step. As per the timing of it, we also anticipate, as Nicholas notes, that it will most likely be subject to the price action in traditional assets. Should equities and credit markets hold steady, it may result in a potential delay, whereas disruption in the capital market may see the need for a BTC ETF accelerate. Either scenario, we will conclude with a quote we wrote back in March. "It appears as though an ETF on Bitcoin is moving from a state of "If" to "When." Datadash is certainly not alone on his 50k call. BitMEX CEO Arthur Hayes appears to think along the same line. On behalf of the CoinLive Team, we want to thank Nicholas Merten at Datadash for such enlightening insights.
A very big thank you to everyone who participated in FinNexus’s first ever AMA session in the Wanchain Telegram! We were very pleased with the level of enthusiasm from AMA participants! We’re sorry to say that we weren’t able to answer every single question as we received close to 80 questions, and many of them were similar. However, we did our best to identify all the unique questions and answer them all as fully as possible. We have also selected the top ten 🏆🏆🏆winning questions🏆🏆🏆 of the AMA who’s askers will be receiving $20.00 worth of FNC each at the Wanchain address they submitted after the token generation event scheduled in January. (Feel free to ask any other questions in response to this post!)
TOP TEN QUESTIONS:
1.🏆 What’s special about Finnexus vs. others in the space? @oluap5773 Our closest competitors are traditional financial institutions which offer low risk, non blockchain based stable return and fixed return products. Our other competitors would be platforms such as Binance and Compound which offer centralized or decentralized stable return products based on crypto lending businesses. FinNexus has a unique focus on assets with real value built on blockchain infrastructure, which is rare in our other DeFi projects. Unlike Binance and Compound whose stable return products are based on crypto lending businesses, the assets we issue include those based on both real world and crypto businesses, which gives users access to reliable assets which are not correlated with the performance of crypto markets. And unlike traditional institutions, all our products are built on blockchain, which enables them to make use of all the blockchain’s advantages. 2. 🏆 What do you think of the future of DeFi in this space? @salmanmbstu96 Our expectation of the future DeFi is mainly on the application level rather than a technical one.
Borrowing and Lending cannot be everything about DeFi. The growth of the DeFi should be largely diversified to other assets and business models.
The risks in the DeFi world is similar, in other words, most of the DeFi models are facing the same systematic risks, which are with high risk and high expected return characteristics. In cases when the bitcoin collapses, every businesses and scenarios will be affected. This is not healthy.
The DeFi applications are not so user-friendly. One has to take some time to learn how to deal with one decentralized product.
A leading project in the future should have the ability to solve the problems above. Blockchain is a great technology, while the combination with finance cannot avoid the basic logic and be isolated from the successful scenarios and models we built. Different models here mean different application scenarios in the financial world, like the equity rights, debenture rights, derivatives or other beneficiary rights. The centralized or decentralized cannot be questions like yes or no. During the process of development, there may be something in between. On one hand it is built in a decentralized way and smart contracts are triggered automatically; while on the other hand, it is adapting the realistic that some parts of transactions or measurements must be under centralized regulations. We would like to call it Open Finance, as it is open to both the crypto assets on the blockchain, and the assets off the chain while restructuring their parts in a decentralized way. In the future, we believe that there will be leading projects, that can bridge the blockchain technology and real world assets, diversify the systematic risks while attracting more users, and be user friendly that the nonprofessional may easily operate. 3. 🏆 Give me reason’s why should I invest in #FinNexus? @cryptococuk01 I hope you read the write paper of FinNexus and got understandings on what FinNexus is about to do. FNC will be the sole token in the FinNexus ecosystem. It is a kind of hybrid token, like a utility token but also benefiting from FinNexus development. FinNexus will work as the financial product supermarket, Broker, Investment Banker or something alike. It will gain revenue directly from its operations. Holders of FNC is eligible to the following rights or benefits (will be explained in details on the FinNexus official websites): 1)Rights of higher rate of returns on tokenized products; 2)Rights to invest in tokenized products with lower cost; 3)Benefits on the discount on the transaction commissions; 4)Derivative rights, like early settlement, resale or interest swaps; 5)Rights to interact with WAN; 6)Benefits on the FinNexus’ development; the revenue of FinNexus is from: Underwriting; Investment banking; Market making; Transaction commissions; Investment in tokenized products. 4. 🏆 How can FinNexus goal be explained in layman’s terms? @iamthethirdkind You can actually get a clue from the project’s name ‘FinNexus’. The name is quite straightforward. FinNexus is the combination of the words ‘Finance’ and ‘Nexus’. It means financial connections. I will explain that in 3 aspects:
To asset owners
Finance here includes the ‘traditional’ and the ‘decentralized’ and traditional finance is only traditional compared to DeFi. Here FinNexus is aiming at providing a solution, which we call it a protocol, where one can link the traditional financial world with the blockchain technology in an efficient, transparent and feasible way. For example, one with assets that have good expected cash flows will find a way to easily tokenize the assets on FinNexus.
To users FinNexus will act as a financial product supermarket. Right now, the DeFi world has a problem that almost all of the crypto assets or financial products bear the same systematic risks, which means when the Bitcoin price collapses, every kind will join the plummet and even the financial models will cease to be valid. One of the reasons is that all assets are purely crypto-born. Moreover, the crypto interface is not so easy for a nonprofessional to operate. FinNexus’ goal is to provide diversification and convenience with assets of real value. Users will be able to invest in assets with various risks and returns here, and can easily choose to their preferences like in a supermarket.
FinNexus is concentrating in the application level, with the help of the two initiators. It will not operate or manage assets directly and will act as a channel or a hub, where supplies and needs are paired, while in later stages, it will strive to build the protocols or standards for all of these tokenizations and transactions. 5. 🏆 What are tokenized digital assets in FinNexus? How is it different from current digital assets? @hg144 The FinNexus team have done researches on the tokenization of real world assets. Right now, only a few groups like the credit assets, supply chain finance or other sub-dividable beneficial rights seem most feasible. These tokenized products may bear characteristics like equities, debentures, derivatives or other beneficiary rights. The noticeable differences lie in the nature of the products. The returns are from the cashflow of the real world assets, rather than mining, staking, speculating, etc. FinNexus combines the decentralized and centralized means. The tokens have advantages on chain, while the product design and disclosure draw lessons from traditional finance. Apart from that, there will also be products totally on chain, triggered by smart contracts, like crypto futures, options, and ETFs, with user-friendly interfaces. 6. 🏆 What are the advantages and disadvantages of FinNexus when developing in a large market like China? Do you have plans to develop other regions? @hiampluto Advantages: (1) The blockchain industrial environment and public opinion guidance has changed since China’s President Xi Jinping recent announcement. The word blockchain has been mentioned in social media time and time again, and almost everyone is trying to find out what it is. President made it clear that the country would encourage enterprises applying the technology into real world scenarios. (2) China has the largest population and made great technological progress over the last decade. Blockchain projects, communities, exchanges, token funds, medias, and other participants have established a complete and dynamic ecosystem. FinNexus is easy to access to these resources. (3) Financial market in China has been making great progress, which provides FinNexus with adequate talents, financial products and potential users. (4) The two initiators Wanchain and SuperAtom (incubated by Cheetah Mobile) are all based in China. They both give FinNexus big financial, human-power and community support, with minimum communication cost in the same city. Disadvantages: (1) Activities like ICOs or other forms of public fund-raising are still restricted; (2) The government’s attitude towards the security-like tokens and tokenization is still not clear; (3) Language and time zone discrepancy may cause difficulties. FinNexus is aiming to build a global open finance protocol. Blockchain should be boundless, and so will be our users and assets. Our first product’s basic asset is in SE Asia. We are now building teams, grouping communities, and recruiting regional ambassadors. Also, we are making continuous and effective interactions with the global communities of Wanchain and Bitrue. 7. 🏆 FinNexus’s team consists of experienced and brilliant individuals. What made them to unite together and work in unison for the fulfilment of it and how does it act as an advantage compared to other projects in terms of brainstorming and guidance? @cryptollll Though key members of FinNexus team seem to have different educational backgrounds or working experiences, we come together with the same beliefs and goals. The same purpose has united us together and after grinding-in over one and a half years, we are working together energetically and harmoniously, which provides a foundation for the success of FinNexus. It is not the first time we work together and we knew each other with for long time. The details of resumes are on the website. 8. 🏆 Many blockchain projects and companies focus on making very complex systems, say they will revolutionize the society, and help the unbanked. Since you work directly in the area, how realistic do you think such statements are? @lucbazanse The team has been working together for more than a year already. FinNexus is a project at the layer 3 level in the blockchain system, targeting at the application usage. The team believes that no matter how innovative or revolutionary a new technology is, if it fails to be conveniently applied in everyday use or have efficient or cost-saving solutions to users, we cannot call it a successful technology. Therefore, we will build our application on top of the successful public chains and concentrate in providing financially practical and risk diversified products and user friendly applications. We doubt that the unbanked can be helped by a complex system. Unbanked group of people usually exist in the less developed regions that lack basic infrastructure. They may not well educated or lack the basic understanding of the technology or even ideas of modern financial or banking system. Therefore, the application is most important. A successful project should provide them with friendly interfaces and convenient accesses, aiming directly to their basic needs, no matter how complex or innovative the technology is. That’s what FinNexus is trying to do, to provide what is needed the most in a simple and understandable way. 9. 🏆 Which way you will offer token sale? We create a new way of the token sales together with launching our products. FinNexus’ will issue its CFNC (convertible FNC), which gives holders the right to convert into ABT in the conversion period. The holders of ABT are eligible to the benefit with an annualized rate of return at over 10%. ABT is called the Asset Backed Token in general, in specific, the return of the token is backed by the consumer loan assets in Indonesia, with the originator SuperAtom, which is initiated by the NYSE listed company Cheetah Mobile, as the basic asset. It has a traditional hierarchical design and the ABT is the token in the senior tranche. The details will be disclosed in the Offering Circular on the FinNexus website later. We strongly recommend the interested blockchainers to check the details on www.finnexus.io 10. 🏆 Can you tell more about road-map for future developments? @toanphamhd In phase one, before the end of 2019 or early in 2020, FinNexus is introducing ICTO, combining the fund raising process with its products. Instruments with the essentials of ABT are likely to be one of the major products offered to users, with different systematic risks from the crypto assets. Before the first quarter of 2020, other products like the borrowing and lending, hedging, ETF and staking are likely to be issued, as well as the other schemes of the ABT products. FinNexus will also cooperate with at least three of the token exchanges, crypto wallets or other channels as the sale portals. In phase two, before the end of 2020, FinNexus will search for the qualified assets globally and combine the blockchain technology with the real world application scenarios in vaster occasions. And FinNexus work with other mainnet projects to launch its new products and interactions with the chain tokens. Moreover, FinNexus will facilitate the trade of the ABT and other similar products on the OTC market. The experience of the traditional financial market shows that the OTC transactions of these products have even higher volume than the bidding mode in the exchanges. In the third phase, in three years, FinNexus’ goal is to build an open finance protocol. This protocol is established on Layer 3, targeted on the application level. It will provide the basic standard for the tokenization and transaction for all types of assets, both in traditional finance and in the crypto world. All assets that provide future returns will be programmable with blockchain in the future and FinNexus is defining a protocol that provides the standards and convenience in realization. Different assets may apply to various requirements in details, but the common language lying in is what FinNexus is chasing for. While in the coming days, we would expect 1) the release of the detailed conversion and subscription rules on the website; 2) the release of the ABT offering circular to give a detailed explanation on the risks and returns; 3) setting the timetable for offering and listing of FNC.
RUNNER UP QUESTIONS
11. What is the current development progress of the project, and when is the main online release? @btc4life76 The first product will be released together with ICTO process, details of which you may check on the FinNexus website. Right now, the product is under the final stage of development and the team are working on the necessary information disclosure materials and the design of tokens on Wanchain. The planned release time will be before the end of this year or early next year. 12. “What are the recent change in high-level strategy in product design and development? How will it help the #FinNexus to move further with the safest & fastest Blockchain technology?” @ahmetumit08 FinNexus is a project built on layer 3 and concentrates on technological application. ‘We are the portal to the users and we need to make it simple, convenient, understandable and transparent’. The advantage does not lie in the sophistication of the underlying technology, but in the application level. To establish an Open Finance Protocol, FinNexus has to move earlier and faster than the others, and at present, it is the first in the industry to put forward this concept. In product development, we will make each code be used in real use case and keep improving in practice. In the beginning, we will built a layer 3 for assets tokenization and distribution, fee and interests distribution, buying and withdrawing. Users (business users) do not need to connect public chains, but use our SDK or API to interact with different chains. Recently we are focusing on protocols with smart contracts that asset tokenization could be easily deployed by FNX layer 3. And then we will focus on the protocol of decentralized token distribution. That means anyone who wants to sell assets tokens in FinNexus only need to download our SDK or connect our API. 13. How many different types of assets can be expected in the first quarter of 2020 . What will be the jurisdiction of assets and how will FinNexus avoid people from holding assets from restricted jurisdictions? @anon As a project incubated by SuperAtom, the UangMe assets will work as an initiator, and it has the potential of the amount of 100M USD. In the meantime, similar assets in Malaysia are under discussion. In addition, there will be other types of products the users may expect in the first quarter of 2020, like crypto borrowing and lending products, easy-operating crypto-currency derivatives, ETF products, staking related products, etc., and they are all under development right now. We have a legal team that help us deal with the jurisdiction issues. We will monitor the changing legal environment around the main countries and regions. KYC procedures are necessary for avoiding investors from holding assets from restricted jurisdictions. 14. How FinNexus and Wanchain both can get benefitted using each others protocol? @salmanmbstu96 FinNexus is the layer 3 which can make users, especially business users, to use Wanchain easily in financial aspects. And FinNexus focuses on different assets, that could grant Wanchain with more applications to run. In most of financial scenarios, multi-coin will be used, so we can use the cross-chain protocol of Wanchain. If Wanchain protocol is like a highway road, FinNexus protocol is working as an assembly line. 15. What do you think about Defi Landscape right now? @paraphan1992 Now, many DeFi projects are limited to the products and applications with the pure crypto assets. They can be highly decentralized and automated, but is it enough? 1) Borrowing and Lending is the first natural DeFi application scenario and contributes to over 90% of the application scenarios. It cannot be everything about DeFi. The growth of the DeFi should be largely diversified to other assets and business models. 2) The risks in the DeFi world is similar, in other words, most of the DeFi models are facing the same systematic risks, which are with high risk and high expected return characteristics. In cases when the bitcoin collapses, every businesses and scenarios will be affected. This is not healthy. Tokens transactions with high risks and the relating credit activities cannot be the whole world of DeFi. FinNexus is trying to introduce financial products with different types and levels of risks and expected returns, to enrich the products desperately needed in the industry. 3) The DeFi applications are not so user-friendly. One has to take some time to learn how to deal with one decentralized product. FinNexus aims at providing something that is transparent with the information needed for the investors to make judgment while easy to handle. Right now, Maker is trying to move to Multi-Collateral Dai (MCD), a big step to make the DeFi model richer and healthier. Also they introduce Dai Savings Rate (DSR), which may have the potential to be regarded as one of the standard rates. In the future, we may witness wider real world assets and application scenarios in DeFi and that is the path that DeFi is bound to follow. 16. Can FinNexus support smart contracts? @btc4life76 The answer is yes, smart contracts will play important roles in the FinNexus products. The first phase of products will be built on Wanchain and according to the ICTO rules, the ABT conversion and the future payment of principal and interest of ABT will all be supported by smart contracts. Again, for details of ICTO please check our website. In later phases ,we will develop other products based on ETH or other chains according to the users’ requirements and asset characteristics; and smart contracts will be richer and more diversified. 17. Why do we need DEFI? What is the new thing that DeFi bring to us? Was your project born for that? @oluap5773 A: The decentralized blockchain technology needs application scenarios, and the finance needs the innovative technology to solve its own problems, thus here comes the merge of the two. Bitcoin brings the blockchain technology into our sight and until now, it has 70% of the total value of crypto assets. Bitcoin is born to facilitate the financial transactions and most of the project henceforth cannot be isolated from the financial fields. There is an inevitable bond since the birth of the technology, and finance is always the natural experimental field of blockchain. The problem of information asymmetry is always puzzling investors and regulators. Most of the solution came from a centralized way from the authorities before, while the result was much diversified among regions. With the emergence of blockchain, it provides an alternative solution to this long-lasting issue. It is trustworthy, non-modifiable and self-proved. Moreover, it is bondless and anti-authorized, which can largely reduce the cost of international transactions while enhancing the efficiency. The technology is self-organized, decentralized and automated. DeFi has the potential to change the governance structure and investment behavior in the financial world. Tens of years ago, the internet has brought finance efficiency and popularization. Today blockchain is about to change the financial system again. It introduces the participants into a new territory that is bondless, decentralized, trustworthy, and equal. It will largely decrease the cost of centralized supervision, the risk of information asymmetry and the barrier among economic entities. Many business formats will change concerning the technology, including the economic entities, governance authorities, market intermediaries, exchanges and the transaction behavior of investors. For example, in the future, it is expected that the basic bookkeeping of a business entity will be on blockchain, and all of the operational activities like procurement, production, sales, inventories, invoices, taxations, employments, etc., will be dealt with and recorded in a decentralized way. Therefore, the auditors’ jobs are shifting from the bookkeeping test of accuracy to the verification of the validity of the chain. Of course, FinNexus is born to be part of the big change, and we strive to be one of the driving forces of the financial decentralization progress. The goal of FinNexus is to build an Open Finance Protocol. The protocol is like a channel or a standard, to allow all kinds of assets, whether decentralized or centralized, whether with characteristics of equity, debenture, derivative or other hybrid, to find its path towards tokenization with the blockchain technology. By maintaining the basic business logic and learning from the traditional financial model, FinNexus will combine with the advantages of the blockchain technology, to make investors truly benefit from decentralization. 18. Which target users does FinNexus aim to serve? Will its technology be easy for participants to use but still ensure open, transparent and equal way? @paraphan1992 FinNexus aims to serve those who know blockchain and have invested in crypto assets or DeFi products, those who know real world investment but little about blockchain, and those who know little about crypto assets or financial investment but interested in the blockchain technology and curious on the virtual assets. The meaning of ‘Nexus’ has many parts, and one is to make connections with different market participants. FinNexus will work through protocols and try to act as a channel. In future stages, it will make connections with the OTC markets providing fiat and crypto currency exchanges. Through these protocols, non-crypto users will be able to invest in the FinNexus products. As FinNexus is built on Layer 3, the protocol will be built combining the decentralized and centralized solution. User-friendliness is a must. By means of easy interfaces, full information disclosure and integrated protocols, users with various degree of knowledge and different risk tolerance are able to get their suitable investment, easily and transparently. whether decentralization or centralization, are means not targets. Openness, transparency and equality are necessary to lower credit risks in financial activities. The subscription, transaction, interaction and distribution of financial products will be on chain in a decentralized way, implemented by smart contracts; while the information disclosure, real assets collateral and basic assets operation will be off chain in a centralized way. FinNexus protocols will work to achieve such goals.
New to Tokenized Assets and STOs (Security Token Offernings) and how Ravencoin fits in... here's a ELI5
It’s actually elegantly simple. The most powerful aspect of blockchain is an immutable record or ledger. So with that, one of the most valid use cases is tokenizing assets, so what does that mean.. quite simply anything in the real world you can think of that could be represented by a legally binding contract (historically mediated by a third party) can now be issued/tracked and transferred on the blockchain. Some examples are: The biggest use case is... Securities- a tremendous amount of interest is moving towards companies issuing stock as Security Tokens, this is a 60trillion dollar industry. The stock is no different than it currently is on paper other than how it is issued and who has custody of it. Currently all stocks are held by a third party clearing house and it costs companies up to $200,000 to be listed on an exchange like NYSE. Issuing stock via STO (Security Token Offerings) has major benefits in terms of efficiency and cost. Not only does it allow the market to trade 24/7 but it also offers instant settlements and a sliver of the cost. There are a lot of big players putting serious capital behind this, and it’s only a matter of time before the old clunky way is replaced by the high speed cost effective new way. Look up Circle, TZero, Templum, Coinbase and NASDAQ with Security Tokens in your search. That will give you an idea of how serious these players are. Also small businesses who could never list or IPO due to cost can now raise funding through Securities : A small business raises capital by issuing 10,000 tokens, each token holder then receives profit sharing. Other uses: -reward points for mileage plans or membership rewards -serialized precious metals or gems -real estate and land deeds -collectibles and fine art -supply chain -tickets to events -voting Again, the magic bean in all of this isn’t the asset itself. It is in how efficient, trust-less and cost effective it is to digitally verify Proof of Ownership. A Contract is a contract and that part is only as good as the issuer of the contract and the contract itself. But that is no difference now or 50 years ago for 50 years in the future it is all in how contracts are issued, track and verified. A tokenized asset is simply a digital contract that is legally binding like any other contract, be it on paper or on a database mediated by a third party or written on a napkin in a dingy bar. The revolutionary difference here, is the blockchain technology that takes out the need for a middleman and provides unparalleled digital security and immutability. Take Bitcoin, the king of blockchain, it is hands down the most secure and proven network in the world, it is constantly under attack, yet since its inception not a single transaction has been forged or altered. Yeah but what about all those hacks?? Those have nothing to do with the bitcoin network/blockchain and everything to do with the exchanges and custodians of the bitcoins. SOOO... why Ravencoin? Well if you're still with me... Ravencoin is currently the only Protocol that is custom built to handle the transfer of assets. There are others that can do asset transfers like Counterparty and ERC2-20 (ethereum) but those use a second layer solution, in other words they piggyback the asset information on a regular Bitcoin/ETH transaction and then another protocol scans the data and parses it out to deal with the Assets separately. This is extremely inefficient because one, you have to spend the native currency (BTC/ETH) to make the transaction in order to pass the data along the chain (ie expensive to do so) and secondly, the BTC/ETH blockchain doesn't natively recognize the asset (it just sees it as meta data passed along with the transaction). This means that there is a high risk of destroying the asset if for example someone sent a transaction with Asset Data to an exchange... poof, gone. -Ravencoin has solved for this MAJOR difference as it is not tacked onto another blockchain, the code natively recognizes assets and can issue and transfer them without spending the native currency. The only cost is the RVN it costs to create the asset and the mining fee to process a transaction (which is basically insignificant). Also: (borrowed from previous post by dcatt47) -Ravencoin is easier to use than other protocols because it removes the complexities of navigating smart contracts, and Ravencoin is purpose built for asset issuance and transfer. Ethereum, on the other hand, runs general purpose code contracts, and wasn’t designed with asset transfer as its primary use case, and therefore can never be as easy to use as Ravencoin. -Ravencoin allows messages to be broadcast to token holders. This capability is extremely important and valuable. Many ERC20 token issuers have learned the hard way that Ethereum doesn’t have a message broadcast system. -Ravencoin allows voting by the token holders. Vote tokens can be distributed to your token holders. Vote tokens can be sent to specific addresses to vote. -Ravencoin allows asset token holders anywhere in the world to be paid (in RVN) if desired. This reward or dividend feature is very powerful, and allows a capability that didn’t exist before the advent of crypto-currency. Ravencoin makes it simple and easy to reward your token holders and early believers in your project. If your interest is piqued, I would encourage you to do some digging and research the project. It is backed by some really big players in the Blockchain, financial and Commerce industries. To illustrate the public interest, RVN was just listed on Binance, one of if not the largest Crypto Exchanges in the world, and just yesterday alone, in ONE day the volume in trading was over 25KBTC (Approx $160,000,000)... that is astronomical for a relatively unknown project. Well, not anymore.. "the cat is out of the bag"

He interpreted the market response in the context of Chinese netizens’ anger over a now-notorious tweet from Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey, in which he declared solidarity with anti-government, anti-Beijing protesters in Hong Kong. Foxconn Founder: Libra Can ‘Converge’ With China’s Digital Currency In Taiwan Terry Gou, Taiwan’s richest man and the founder of manufacturing giant Foxconn, wants the island to roll out the red carpet for Facebook’s Libra cryptocurrency project. In a recent, little-noticed speech, the billionaire and one-time presidential candidate said Taiwan could boost its status as an international financial hub by embracing Libra, rather than approaching the project with skepticism as other governments have done. Gou also suggested the island could connect Libra, if and when it launches, with the digital currency being developed by the People’s Bank of China. Ex-CFTC Chairman Proposes Digital Dollar, A Government-Sanctioned Blockchain Protocol Former Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) chairman Christopher Giancarlo, who had parted ways with the regulator this summer, published an article, named “We Sent a Man to the Moon. We Can Send the Dollar to Cyberspace,” stating that Washington should edge out rivals with a regulated platform for trading greenbacks via blockchain. “We propose a digital dollar — a government-sanctioned blockchain protocol, created and maintained by an independent nongovernmental group but administered by banks and other trusted payment organizations,” his words read. SEC Restarts Clock On Proposed ‘Bitcoin and T-Bills’ ETF According to a public filing published on Oct 15, investment management firm Wilshire Phoenix and NYSE Arca filed an amendment to their ETF proposal earlier this month to address issuance and redemption for the securities and the listing trading of the fund’s shares. Coinbase Custody will act as the custodian for the bitcoin held by the trust, according to the filing. The notice of Oct 15 says Coinbase will provide attestations confirming the amount of Bitcoin it holds within five business days of the trust’s monthly rebalancing, adding a detail not present in the original filing.

However, BTC price struggled to climb above the $8,400 resistance area. As a result, there was a fresh decline below the $8,300 level. Moreover, there was a break below the key $8,200 support area and the 100 hourly simple moving average. Finally, the price traded below the $8,100 level and formed a new weekly low near $8,062. It is currently consolidating losses above the $8,100 level. Besides, it traded above the 23.6% Fib retracement level of the recent decline from the $8,386 high to $8,062 low. An immediate resistance is near the $8,200 level (the recent key support). The next resistance is near the $8,220 level and the 50% Fib retracement level of the recent decline from the $8,386 high to $8,062 low. However, the main resistance for bitcoin is near the $8,300 level and the 100 hourly SMA. Furthermore, there is a key declining channel forming with resistance near $8,350 on the hourly chart of the BTC/USD pair. Therefore, a successful break above the channel resistance and a follow through above $8,400 is must for a decent recovery in the near term. On the downside, there are not many supports up to $8,000. If the bears gain strength, they may perhaps succeed in clearing the $8,000 support area. The next major support is near the $7,800 level, below which the price is likely to head towards the $7,500 zone. I've spent several days reading posts, blogs, articles, and white papers as well as watching videos, and I still have some [serious] questions not related to making a quick buck.
I've read a ton across /CryptoCurrency, /BitCoin, /LiteCoin, /RequestNetwork, and /Iota. Initially I thought all coins were simply currency and could not understand why there were so many different ones. I've been reading comments, articles, and even white papers (which broke my brain). I've also watched most of Antonopoulos' videos, as well as some other YoutTube videos. But I have some lingering questions. If you could help me with serious responses, I'd appreciate it. To start, and to be perfectly honest, I do not truly understand the Block Chain concept or the Tangle concept. I have also never owned stocks, and don't understand NYSE either. I do understand supply and demand. I'm not a day trader, and I'm not looking for a quick buck. I'm in this because I believe in the concepts (that I understand) and I'm impressed with some of the theoretical applications I've read about. 1) Like most rookies, I started with CoinBase and got suckered in to paying their fees to purchase (~2%). Last night I moved $100 (0,0064 BtC) from Coinbase to Binance, and they charged me a $14.75 (00094058 BtC) fee. That seems outrageous. I lost 16% just getting in and out. I now know that I can buy on GDAX, but will I always have to pay a 14% fee to move my money? Or did I do something stupid? 2) I legitimately don't understand wallets. Even after watching Antonopoulos' videos. I own a cell phone (Samsung) and a Lap Top. I'm in this for the long run, but I'd like the option of buying/selling/or exchanging when I care to. Am I better off storing them on a wallet on my phone, laptop, or external device. 3) Will I be charged a fee every time I move them from a wallet to an exchange, exchange to wallet, and wallet to wallet? Should I try to consolidate my transfers to as few as possible? 4) As a follow up, if the above is correct, should I have multiple wallets? One for long term storage and one for frequent exchanges? 5) Can I store BitCoin, LiteCoin, Request Network, and Iota on the same wallet? 6) I read that each coin gets its own address. If I own 100 LiteCoin, does that mean I need 100 addresses, and 100 keys? 7) An address seems to be 19 random numbers and letters, and the number 9. But where is it? In the ether? Is it like a web address? And if so, what prevents my money from being hacked? 8) If everyone just makes up random addresses for their wallet, how am I guaranteed not to duplicate someone else's address? 9) If I lose my wallet, I can use a Wallet Seed to recover the coins in that wallet? And that seed is 24 words strung together? Are they completely random words? How does the new wallet know what was in my old wallet? What prevents me from using the same seed on 3 new wallets? 10) Since BitCoin has taken off, a lot of transactions are well to the right of the decimal point. Personally I find these amounts to be very confusing. It seems like the opposite of inflation (like Zimbabwe's 1 Trillion Dollar Bill). Why not move the decimal point, and increase everyone's amount of coins to make it more manageable? Does the mess the system? It just seems that moving 2.749 Btc makes more sense than 0.0002749. 11) Is the total value of BitCoin (or any other coin) equal to the total amount of Fiat paid in to buy in? Or are there other factors at play? 12) Why do the owners of different Alt Coins hate each other so much? There seems to be a lot of mud slinging across platforms, which I don't understand. Bond owners don't seem to hate commodity investors. I thought a diverse portfolio was the way to go. 13) Iota is only obtainable with BitCoin or Ethereum. How does the value of BtC affect that? If BitCoin value cuts in half, are Iota worth half as much now? Or is there no relation there? 14) Is buying new Alt Coins early on basically just a new was of investing in a start up? I mean, at that point the coins aren't really a currency yet. Are you basically buying coins to give the programmers funds for their project? 15) Are there any crypto currencies that have been on the market, and then crashed and disappeared? I know investing in crypto is risky. But are there any that don't even exist any more? 16) have a really hard time wrapping my head around the fact that a $100 to $1000 climb is the same as a $1000 to a $10000 climb. But that's correct, right? It's not an increase of $9000, it's an increase of 1000% (or a multiplication of 10). Is that correct? 17) What's the advantage of buying Iota over LiteCoin, or LiteCoin over Iota? You can substitute any major currency for any upstart currency if you prefer. Basically what are the advantages and disadvantages of buying a newer extremely cheap currency an established more expensive currency? I appreciate anyone who takes the time not only to read this post, but to answer any of my questions. Thank you. EDIT - Numbered the questions.
SophonEX — a commission-free crypto to crypto exchange, for the decentralized community. SophonEX is a group of programming geeks, previously working for Facebook, Google, KCG, JP Morgan, etc. ‘Digital natives’ could be a pretty fit description for us. The majority of our founding team members are veterans of ACM-ICPC and TopCoder competitions, with great enthusiasm in coding, data structure, algorithm and mathematics When we first came across bitcoin’s technical paper, we were fascinated by its engineering beauty and philosophy depth. From there, we start to imagine a decentralized world where trust doesn’t comes with a charge, and trade doesn’t comes with a commission. After months of sophisticated design, it’s no longer a dream… It becomes real, in SophonEX. Get priority access Want more details about our team? → Team Profile
Make crypto trading frictionless and free. We believe that charging per-trade commission (no matter 0.1% or a staggering 3%) is evil in the decentralized world. Decentralized services need to be commission-free; and this spreading freedom is beneficial to the human society.
Our Values — How we do things around our offices?
Focus on impact and priority
Relentlessly Optimistic and Transparent
Be Bold and Open
Why make SophonEX?
The time when the founding team came to know and started researching on bitcoin whitepaper can be dated back to the mid of 2017. At the end of that year, we initiated a quantitative fund, focusing on the bitcoin arbitrage across different exchanges worldwide. Our fund size (prop + LP invested) is about ~3000 BTC in maximum, and we traded across nearly 20 exchanges, including: BitFlyer, Coincheck, Quoinex(liquid), Zaif, Fisco, Binance, Bitfinex, GDAX(coinbase pro), Gate.io, Huobi.pro, OKEX, Poloniex, Kraken, Bithumb, Bitstamp, HitBTC. We wrote the arbitrage and quant trading system mainly in C++, and deployed it on multiple AWS ECs to colocate with these exchange servers. Our fund trading system is highly performant and reliable, making tens of thousands of orders per day. This high performance and reliability brings us to top5 in terms of 24-hr volume in the ranking. Despite of the success, it is also due to the 10-month trading experience, we came to realize the facts that all the de facto crypto exchanges share several similar flaws, which we concludes as below:
Clumsy and out-of-date backend architecture with poor engineering quality. E.g. most of the existing exchanges are written in old style PHP or J2EE or other stacks, which makes it hard to ensure high performance and reliability;
Digital Asset Security: hacking and security incidents happen every now and then;
APIs (restful and websocket) are badly designed and lagging. Based on our own experience, some of those APIs are being updated without prior announcements, which resulted in mal-functioning of our strategy occasionally;
Most importantly, the traditional trading commission is outrageously high. In traditional stock exchanges (e.g. Nasdaq, NYSE, etc), trading commission is ~0.02%, and the brokerage commission (e.g. Charles Schwab, Scottrade, Interactive Broker, etc) is charged at $0~6.95 flat fee Fees List. A younger stock brokerage, Robinhood launched in 2013, brands itself as commission free broker, which inspired us.
In light of this, we are dedicated to creating a brand-new crypto exchange with zero commission, high engineering quality and best security from the design. We’re still a centralized exchange with the cutting-edge and up-to-date engineering standards. Whereas the SophonEX team is conceiving a roadmap to gradually switch to a hybrid, and then fully decentralized exchange in the near future. SophonEX project was kicked off in June 2018, and aims to officially launch in March 2019. Prelaunch registration is available now: Priority access
This week in crypto: The biggest news in the cryptocurrency space
News by Coingeek: Noah Bradley As active as the blockchain and cryptocurrency spaces are on a continual basis, it may sometimes be difficult to keep up with everything that’s going on. It’s also difficult to separate the real news from the fluff — those pieces that are only designed to appear noteworthy but that are, in fact, just publicity campaigns. In an effort to provide crypto enthusiasts with an overview of what’s going on, here is a rundown on some of the top stories of the week. Bitfinex and Tether have had another rough week. There was some good news, as well as bad, as the saga over their close relationship and questionable activities continues. On the one hand, Bitfinex has been told by a judge that it won’t have to turn over documents related to those activities for now. The New York Attorney General’s Office wants to know exactly what the two have been doing behind closed doors, and they’re fighting the office over its reported lack of jurisdiction. Until a request to have the case dismissed over those jurisdiction claims can be answered by a judge, Bitfinex can ignore the request. On the other hand, though, neither of the two entities should think that it’s off the hook. While they have been given a brief reprieve in the fight with the New York government, they face a separate one with New York investors. A law firm in the state, Roche Freedman, has filed a class-action suit against Tether for its “fraudulent” stablecoin scheme. Tether’s USDT stablecoin is no longer pegged to the U.S. dollar, as it had been advertised, and the company is accused of using its position to manipulate the crypto market. Alipay was forced to take a defensive stance this week after rumors started circulating that it was now accepting crypto payments. This would have been against the Alibaba-owned payment platform’s own rules and would, according to the company, possibly violate payment financial regulations. Alipay has a strict no-crypto policy that doesn’t permit the platform to be tied in any way to digital currencies. The announcement came after the Binance exchange stated publicly that it was now able to receive fiat payments using Alipay, via a third-party processor, which didn’t sit well with Alibaba. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rejected yet another rule change proposal that sought to introduce a crypto-based exchange-traded fund (ETF). This one had been submitted by Bitwise Asset Management and the NYSE Arca exchange at the beginning of the year, and received the same response as have the myriad of other requests — the possibility of market manipulation prevents the SEC from signing off on the proposal. Bitwise has indicated that it might try again, but at a much later date. On October 6, Bitcoin SV (BSV) reached a new milestone. A review of blockchain activity revealed that BSV had surpassed BTC in the total number of transactions per day. That day, BSV saw 290,000 transactions, while BTC saw 288,000. One of the biggest reasons for the increase comes from the difference in transaction fees. An average BTC transaction will set someone back around $51.42, while the average cost for a BSV transaction is just $0.31. If there were any questions about how Bank of America (BoA) views the future of digital currency, things were just cleared up a little. BoA had long been a staunch opponent to anything having to do with crypto, but then began to seek blockchain patents and explore the fringes of the Bitcoin ecosystem. Its latest move leaves zero doubt about what is coming, as it has recently completed a recruitment action that was launched to find a Ripple expert to work in-house. The individual, according to BoA’s LinkedIn job posting, would “lead the project management team for the Ripple Project.” Lichtenstein is still determined to be a leading financial hub, even if that hub centers on digital currency and not fiat. The country’s Parliament just approved a new Blockchain Act, which will give better protection to companies and investors, and will almost certain attract a lot of activity to the mid-Europe country.
TL;TR: Every strategy is unique, here is only basic info of what you need to do before buy shares or cryptocurrencies. Well, I'm not good at fundamental analysis, looking for correlations and so on or maybe your good post for everyone at this sub. Here, I want to share my experience with the people who like cryptocurrencies and the stock market. I have my strategy divided in 3 stages, and of course, the first one is the most long one.
Learn more about asset that you want to buy.
1. Learn more about asset that you want to buy. That, to my mind, is the fundamental challenge for everyone who wants to be successful trader. Every project has a white paper, you must read it before buy, it's the best way to understand the team's goals as the company's goals. I have read a lot of white papers and they are different from each other, when the project is really cool its wp is like a very good book for reading, very well written, w/o errors and is truly impressive while reading. Have a questions? Ask them at: official forum, reddit, twitter, telegram, stocktwits, may be at marketknows :). If the deal is about a stock company, be sure that you understand its business model, you must know what does it produce and export or import and how is good their sales, in other words everything what you can find out about company(P/E ratios, growth, balance sheets, industry performance etc.). Here I can recommend you seekingalpha dot com, there you can find a lot of articles, but almost all of them are currently closed for free read, DM me, and I will show you the smart trick how to avoid it. More data needs to be collected on the asset you research nonetheless have a duty to carefully select the information that should be used in your decision. Rule 1 - Read the White Paper. You must do the full research. 2. Competitors research. You can think that this additional workload will, unfortunately, eat your time and the price of a share/coin/token you want to buy will sky rocket without you, well it's not true. In most cases, it is better to spend a week or two to complete your research and to be certain that you are right than you will purchase illiquid asset. Anyway, you will get the data for analysis which would strengthen confidence in your decision and thus enhance the environment for investment. 3. Technical Analysis This is my lovely part. First of all you need to analyze the market sentiment, if it's stock market you must check stocks in the same industry, are they experience a decline or follow the uptrend? As example take a "WeedStocks", the last summer - autumn, the whole industry was booming in connection with the forthcoming publication of new law, new partnerships, etc... "What sparked the cannabis craze of 2018? Well, a number factors shed mainstream light on the long-dormant, niche industry. First, everyone started getting excited in 2018 about the nationwide legalization of cannabis in Canada in October. This was arguably the industry’s biggest catalyst ever, and as pot stocks started listing on U.S. exchanges, investors started bidding those stocks up. But what really kicked this rally into overdrive was a massive $4 billion investment into Canopy Growth from alcoholic beverage giant Constellation Brands (NYSE:STZ) in August. That was when marijuana stocks took off like a rocket ship. The logic was that big money was finally moving into the space, and thereby legitimizing the long-term potential of the recreational and medicinal cannabis markets. Alongside this hype, there was a significant amount of volatility. Thus, just as 2018 was the year of the cannabis craze, it was also the year of marijuana stock volatility. After more than doubling between July and October, pot stocks have since broadly dropped into bear market territory, with Canopy, Tilray and Aurora all 35% or more off all-time highs." source:https://investorplace.com/2019/02/4-reasons-marijuana-stocks-pot-stable-2019/ If it's cryptocurrencies market, then you need to know that Bitcoin is the king here, and when its price is rising, almost every token and coin value is going down in Bitcoin equivalent and rising in dollar pair, however, much depends on the state of the digital asset you choose. Future events, news, different rumors etc.. such activities have a direct impact on the price. I understand that with single stack you are dreaming about 2x, 3x, 5x but that may never happen with your favorite currency, but it can happen with another cryptocurrency which you wanted to buy but you hadn't free money, and for that reason a long-term trader must have at least 5 to 10 assets that are easy to track everyday. And practice. My rules:
Open orders only at start or end of the tf.
Use only 4h, 1d, 3d tf. 1w and 1m can be used to confirm the uptrend.
